Republic Day celebrations
The aroma of patriotism and nationalism was at its best in DPSG Palam Vihar during the jubilant celebration of 70th Republic Day. As we marked glorious 70 years of Republic India, the students and teachers of DPSG Palam Vihar were enraptured and soaked in the patriotic fervour. Ms Shally Arora ,Head Mistress –Senior Wing and Ms Shoma Lahiri, Head Mistress- Middle School, spearheaded the celebration. The coordinators and the heads of departments together with the staff and students sang National Anthem while the National Flag was hoisted. Melodious patriotic songs sung by school choir added colour to the celebration. Isha Sharma of Class VII- D enlightened everyone about the historical relevance of Republic Day. The patriotic poem by Bismil Azimbadi – “Sarfirozi ki tamanna” was sung with reverence by the students of IX grade which inspired the whole school. Every student in the assembly sang with them in full vigour. The students of class VII-D made their energetic moves and grooves on a patriotic medley that paved the way for immense delight and glee for the spectators who waved their tiny national flags. The patriotic aura spread across the lanes and paths of Gurugram thanks to the zest and energy of the members of the student community of DPSG Palam Vihar.
