Independence Day Celebrations
The students of DPSG, PV (Primary wing) celebrated Independence Day, with great zeal and fervour. Head Boy, Divyanshu Tiwari and Head Girl, Shelly Chandel welcomed the parents.
The students of Class IV, set the pitch for the program with the poem ‘Where the head is held high - by Rabindra Nath Tagore’. Students of Class V performed a Nukkad Natak, urging the audience, to value the freedom we have got after the sacrifices of many Indians. The school choir enthralled the audience with the patriotic songs they sang. Colourful presentation in the form of dance received a much deserved applause from the audience present.
The highlights of the program were patriotic song sung by Aditya and Sia, students of Class II , and instrumental performance on keyboard by Agrima of V B.
Primary wing coordinator, Mrs. Harmeet Kaur, thanked all the parents present.
