DPSGPV Junior wing is observing Swachta Week from Oct 8th to 12th.
"Let's join our hands together to keep our environment clean and green"
Students of DPSG PV are celebrating ‘Swachta Week’ from 8th Oct '2018 to 12th Oct'2018. On the first day of the week, students did the Poster Making activity. They depicted the different ways and means through which we can make our school and country clean. The aim behind this activity is to make the students realize the need of cleanliness in their life and how they can keep their surroundings clean. Through this activity school aims to bring the key competencies like collaboration, critical thinking, character building and citizenship among the students.
The second day started with an assembly on the importance of Swacchta. A pledge was taken by the students to keep their surroundings clean and motivate others for the same.
After assembly, they helped support staff in cleaning their playground. Proper places were allotted to different classes. They felt proud to be a part of this great Abhiyaan.
Invoking the sense of responsibility towards cleanliness amongst the students of DPSG, PV various activities were conducted at different levels on third day.
Grade II: Talk with teachers and a workshop on
sanitation to spread the awareness among the younger group.
Grade III: Covering of books and notebooks with newspaper to teach them reuse.

Through these activities, they developed the key competencies like collaborative learning , critical thinking , character building and citizenship.
